The System

PlanTheTrade.com offers a web based stock picking system for day trades and short term swing trades, based on a disciplined strategy, aimed to produce consistent results with minimal risk.

Stock Screening

The system is based on technical analysis and Elliott Wave theory. The system screens for specific types of patterns within waves 3 and 5 of impulse waves. All potential candidates go to
the watchlist and entry, target and stop loss prices are provided. Depending on market conditions, the watchlist will have between
5 and 30 setups every day.

Our Trades

We take trades when the odds are in our favor, but when a trade goes south, we keep the losses small. Once a trade reaches
a certain price level, the system will not let the trade go red. One winner makes up for many losers. Sometimes there will be more losers than winners, but at the end what matters is "return". Keeping losses small is a proven defensive strategy, and a good "defense" is what wins this game. Emotions are very hard to
control when trading and that is why having a plan, before you
enter a position, is so important. If you are looking for a system

	We look for patterns within waves 3 and 5 of impulsive waves, the two longest, strongest moves. A breakout (or breakdown) at confirmation levels (1 or 4) of a high beta stock should be followed by an explosive move.



	When you subscribe to our service, you will gain immediate access to our members area. The interface is well organized and allows you to see all the necessary information in one screen. You can also add access to your favorite financial sites using 'custom links'.



	Every day we go through our screening results, looking for charts with the best setups. Then we add the symbols to the watchlist with the proper entry, target and stop loss prices. We always look for setups with minimum risk and maximum reward. During the trading session the watchlist is scanned continuously for alerts.



	Our system provides an automated portfolio that will send alerts for Buy/sell and Short/cover signals. It also shows a progress bar for each open position, making it very easy to verify the portfolio's performance. The automated portfolio will also change the stop prices whenever the trade progress reaches certain levels, to protect profit all the way to target.



	The alerts display is automatically refreshed every 30 seconds. Real time alerts can be sent by e-mail (optional configuration).
